Aluminum and electric cars go all the way

Compared with the steel plate front anti-collision beam assembly, the use of 6063 and 6016 aluminum alloy manufacturing front anti-collision beam assembly, not only the quality is greatly reduced, the anti-collision effect is also improved. 6063 and 6016 alloys are two commonly used deformed aluminum alloys. The manufacturing cost of aluminum alloy anti-collision beam is about 18.5% higher than that of steel beam.

In an all-aluminum car, the chassis is also a big part. The aluminum alloy chassis must be strong, resistant to corrosion and impact, and have excellent fatigue resistance. The chassis forgings are forged from 6082-T6 aluminum alloy, which can be manufactured by traditional casting - extrusion - roll forging - die forging - solid solution heat - artificial aging, or by extrusion forging - die forging - solid solution heat - artificial aging. 6082 is an Al-Mg-Si-Mn alloy developed by the European Aluminum Association and registered with the American Aluminum Association in 1972. The rear bogie of the chassis is cast from ZL101-T6 aluminum alloy and can be manufactured by squeeze casting or vacuum die casting -- solution solution fire -- artificial aging. The alloy is an AI-Mg-Si cast aluminum alloy.
