Product introduction
7075 T6 round aluminum bar belongs to Al-Zn-Mg-Cu superhard aluminum, 7075 alloy has been applied to the aircraft manufacturing industry in the late 1940s, and is still widely used in the aviation industry of ultra-high strength deformation aluminum alloy. It is characterized by good plasticity after solid solution treatment, particularly good heat treatment strengthening effect, high strength below 150℃, and particularly good low temperature strength; Poor welding performance; Prone to stress corrosion cracking; Need to be coated with aluminum or other protective treatment. Two-stage aging can improve the resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Zinc is the main alloying element in 7075, and adding magnesium to the alloy containing 3%-7.5% zinc can form MgZn2 with significant strengthening effect, so that the heat treatment effect of the alloy is far better than that of the aluminum-zinc binary alloy. With the increase of zinc and magnesium content in the alloy, the tensile strength will be further improved, but the resistance to stress corrosion and spalling corrosion will be decreased. Very high strength properties can be achieved by heat treatment. 7075 materials are generally added to a small amount of copper, chromium and other alloys, the series of 7075-T651 aluminum alloy is particularly high-quality, known as the best aluminum alloy products, high strength, far better than any soft steel.
