7A04 T4 Punch aluminum plate , It is an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu ultra-high strength aluminum alloy, also known as super hard aluminum, which is quite mature in super hard aluminum. An alloy of longer and wider use. High strength, good heat treatment strengthening effect, medium plasticity under annealing and newly quenched state; Different from duralumin, the corrosion resistance of artificial aging state is better than that of natural aging state, and the natural aging process is slow, and it takes 3 months to reach the peak age hardening, so 7A04 is used in the quenching artificial aging state. Its disadvantages are low structure stability, low low frequency fatigue strength, and stress corrosion fracture tendency. The alloy has good weldability in spot welding, poor gas welding, good machinability after heat treatment, but poor machinability after annealing.
